Our own custom compounded minoxidil 10%/tretinoin topical solution, when used at home further boosts the effectiveness of this aggressive treatment therapy.

How does Hair Restoration PRP Therapy work?
PRP - platelet rich plasma is found in our own blood. These nutrient rich blood cells contain essential growth factors, once injected into the affected area, assist in tissue regeneration and healing. Micro-needling utilizes a multi-needle head to perforate the scalp, further stimulating the bodies natural response to send growth factors to the "injured" site. Both treatments are safe and clinical results show this non-surgical regimen is promising in promoting hair regrowth.
How many treatments are needed?
The Hair Restoration PRP Therapy consists of 4 treatment sessions (approximately 45 minutes each) at 4-6 week intervals.
Does it hurt? What is the downtime?
An anesthetic will be applied and/or injected to the treatment area to minimize discomfort. There is no downtime, patients typically bring a hat or head covering to wear home. If possible, it's best to wait 24 hours before you wash your hair after treatment.
When are results seen?
Hair regrowth will vary greatly per individual. In some cases regrowth was shown as early as 6 weeks after the first treatment session. In some cases, it is possible that the treatment will not produce any hair regrowth, but will assist in maintaining existing hair strands.
