There are 2 main types of Injectable Treatments -
Dermal Fillers and Wrinkle Modulators
Dermal Fillers - are made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance that binds to water. The gel-like liquid is injected under the skin to take up the extra space that has been created from your bodies' loss of collagen. As we age, we lose collagen, add in sun damage, environmental factors and genetics, the result is sagging skin, lines and wrinkles. Dermal fillers help to restore lost volume, plump skin, and ease lines and wrinkles.

Wrinkle Modulators - BOTOX®, Dysport® and Xeomin® are all wrinkles modulators, commonly known as neurotoxins or BTX-A treatments. The substance is a natural purified protein that temporarily suspends the muscle movement easing and smoothing creases on the forehead, crows feet and "11's" (those angry lines that form between your eyebrows). . What is BOTOX/Dysport/Xeomin?
BTX-A is a natural purified protein that is injected into the muscle to temporarily block the conduction between the muscle and the nerve resulting in a softening of your lines and wrinkles.

Are there any side effects?
As with any injectible treatment there is the risk of bruising, swelling, redness and soreness at the injection site(s).

Sculptra® is the closest thing to a face lift in a bottle. It is a global filler that is designed to last about 2.5 years.
