Does trying to figure out the difference between dermal fillers and neurotoxins leave a permanent furrow in your brow? If you're considering injectable treatments but don't know where to start, you've come to the right place! Part of my job is to help you understand the difference between the types of injectables we use during cosmetic procedures. The two categories of injectables are neurotoxins and dermal fillers. And while they are both among the most popular anti-aging treatments used today, they are different beasts! Lip filler is one of the most popular treatments requested in medical aesthetics, but are these pout plumpers ruining your lips? I often see patients for correction of poorly placed filler and to reverse excessive filler. Not every surgeon is an injector. Not every injector is an artist. Injecting lips is an art form and if you don’t choose the right provider, your lips can end up looking less Angelina and more Donald Duck.

Combination Therapy - What is it?

Combination therapy quite simply involves using two or more anti-aging treatments to help treat the various signs of aging. There are many factors that contribute to the aging of your face.  Often, loss of volume, lines, wrinkles, sagging skin, heavy jowls, sun spots and declining skin texture have different causes.  Unfortunately, there is not one single treatment that can address all of these concerns.  As an aesthetic professional, I have a variety of non-surgical treatment options at my disposal to correct nearly all of these signs of aging. The best results are achieved with combination therapy.
